A unique concept to make Aurora Hunting as successful as possible
Aurora Road Trips are a aurora hunting concept invented by us, Lorenzo and Luisa. We came up with the idea to create a flexible multi-day Aurora trip to. We believe that it’s the best way to see the Northern Lights.
How does the Aurora Road Trip work?
Our Aurora Road Trip is a multi-day Aurora Hunting Trip in which we only move by van based on the weather to have the best chances to see the Northern Lights. That is the goal of the trip. You will arrive and return to Rovaniemi, but we can end up in northern Finland, Sweden or Norway or in all three countries. If there is time during the day we visit national parks, the fjords or we go hiking depending on where we are. In the evening we hunt for Northern Lights.
With this type of tour we book last minute hotels to maximise our chances of seeing the Aurora. If possible we try to sleep under the Northern Lights and have the accommodation right on point. In the last night we will hunt Auroras only if it is possible on the way back to Rovaniemi. Note that a big part of the trip can be driving.
Photos & success rate
With us you have a Northern Lights hunter, photographer and driver with you. The photos of the trip are included in the price and you will get all of them after the Aurora Road Trip. Every single Aurora Road Trip is individual and super flexible. So far we had a Aurora success rate of 100% in Aurora Road Trips, which means we saw the Northern Lights in every single trip. 🙂

The cost of the Aurora Road Trip is 300 Euros per person per day. In the price the accommodation is not included.
The cost for accommodation for the guides is covered by the participants and divided through all of them. Usually we stay in cottages in the arctic nature. The average cost for the hotel is between 80 and 140 euros per person per night (the guides part included).
In September and October we are offering – depending on demand – camping outdoor Road Trips where we sleep in tents or small wooden shelters. Like that you get the pure outdoor experience. Check it out:

My boyfriend and I went to Rovaniemi this November and one of our dreams was to see the Northern Lights, but because there were a lot of clouds we thought it would be impossible... until we contacted Arctic Road Trips to do a night tour to see if we had a better chance It couldn't have been! We had the most incredible time with Diana as our Aurora hunting guide! I have been thinking about going on an aurora hunt for at least 10 years and had never managed to do it, for professional reasons (lack of time) or financial reasons, since it is a very expensive trip for someone coming from South America, or simply because I couldn’t find the right people to help me. It was an experience, just WOW. Very nice communication and always keep you up to date on how the weather is developing and when we finally start.We had children with us and got a guide who spoke German, which was of course great for the children 🙂 Luisa was super sweet and nice. We had a good chat and Luisa responded to our wishes. Everyone was allowed to take X-photos :). A great experience with lots of northern lights.
Can’t recommend this company more!! You can tell that Luisa and Lorenzo are absolutely passionate about chasing the auroras and do their very best to share this passion with their tour guests 🌌✨The tours are slightly more expensive than other typical aurora tours, but considering the value that you get out of it (>6 hours of chasing, lots of interesting information, drives to different locations if necessary, and a friendly guide who actually CARES if you see the Northern lights), it is SO worth it!!!With another tour I went on, we were dropped in a random location with a cloudy sky, weren’t able to see anything at all, and still had to pay over 70€ for nothing; a waste of money and time.. On the other hand, the One Night Aurora Tour with Lorenzo was amazing! Even though the aurora wasn’t very strong that evening, he constantly checked the forecasts and made sure we would be in the perfect place to see the lights. On nights with lots of waiting, you can warm up in the car. Lorenzo made sure to gather everyone once the aurora showed up. He gave great tips on how to photograph the aurora and took great photos of us as well. On the way back to Rovaniemi, we even spontaneously stopped at another location to see them again for a few minutes. I genuinely think a tour with Arctic Road Trips is worth every penny and can’t wait to book it again when I’m back in Finland. Thank you for the great tour!

We were lucky that evening and didn't have to drive long to see auroras. ✨💚But Diana would have done everything else to ensure that we could see her.The communication, collection and viewing went smoothly, but that doesn't mean it's always like that. But I am convinced that they are doing everything in their power to ensure that we can see this breathtaking natural experience. 🤩Before the tour we listened to Diana's luck songs and she gave us a short, educational Aurora class🤗.Can only recommend it!!!

One of the most incredible experiences ever!We went for a night tour with Diana and it was super! She really loves what she does, this is clearly her thing, and her energy makes the experience totally worth it.The night was really cloudy and Diana drove for more than 400km north (and then the same back to Rovaniemi) to find a clear sky and show us the aurora. What really makes the difference is that Diana wants to see the aurora as much as we do, and never quit until we saw it!Totally worth it!! Go for the aurora with Diana, both of them are amazing 🤩
We had a great adventure chasing Aurora with Luke. His energy and excitement to chase the lights was infectious - this is saying something coz he has a great track record chasing the lights and catches the pretty much every day!😁Highly recommend Arctic Road Trips, they pick you up from your place at Rovaniemi, take you to great spots nearby or afar, teach you the basics of chasing and aurora photography, and also take your pictures!
Maybe the best moments in my life. We’ve been with Diana during the Aurora Hunting and she managed to find the perfect spot for the perfect Aurora. In our case we didn’t have to move that far from Rovaniemi (like 130km), but she demonstrated to be ready even to drive 400km and more. That’s because she is in love with her job, it’s her passion and it can be easily understood by the chats with her during the trip. Amazing night with Diana, she does it with a passion that is impossible to descrive. She drove 400km one way (12h hunting) to find clear skies and managed to show us the Aurora even if behind us there was a huge snowstorm! 100% recommended!!
Aurora hunting with Lorenzo and Luisa was a spectacular adventure. Their passion is infectious! They are constantly working to find the best locations to see the Auroras and then organizing hotels and meals, and it all worked out amazingly. Our light shows were incredible. Unique experience... We had booked for October 29th with Lorenzo but the weather was not suitable and he went out of his way to accommodate us before our departure. In the end we went on the 31st with Diana, a very knowledgeable girl. We found the aurora immediately, but he made us wait longer and it arrived, the perfect, colorful and dancing aurora. We went on an excursion to see the Northern Lights with this tour exactly with Diana, in September 2024. Almost 12 hours of tour and we saw the Northern Lights!! Very professional tour that leaves nothing to chance and if they say it is the evening to see the aurora they would rather drive with their van for hours and hours as happened with us, but you are sure to see the aurora!!! Lorenzo and team are very well researched and ensure that you catch the northern lights within the trip. They track live data of weather, clouds, visibility and scientific statistics for aurora probability at a location. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend this passionate team for the ultimate aurora hunting experience! They also click and share many pictures and time lapse videos after the trip!!!

As for most people going on this trip, my dream was to see aurora. I know just how unpredictable this natural phenomena is, so I didn't have high expectations, but what this trip offered, was beyond any possible ones. We have seen aurora every night, and that is because Luisa and Lorenzo went above and beyond everything just to find clear skies, even when that seemed impossible. They are so dedicated, passionate, and professional, that if every service provider in the world was like that, we would live in a perfect one 😀 Moreover, they are just nice and fun people to be around with, very caring and thoughtful, as every place we stayed at during our trip was a fantastic one. If your dream is to see aurora, this is the only trip I can recommend. One night trips have a limit of how far you can go, but this one doesn't, and by extending the trip to several nights, you have many more chances to catch aurora. And with guides like this the chances are 1000x, as close as it gets to a guarantee (still keep in mind that you can't predict nature, at least not with 100% accuracy). Whether you're a couple or a solo traveler, you will feel safe and welcome, so don't hesitate. The trips are booked year in advance, but you can ask to be put in the waiting list, as sometimes last minute openings happen. Just can't recommend this trip enough!

The Arctic road trip hosted by Lorenzo and Luisa is the best possible u can get for hunting the aurora.they both are so passionate almost crazy in their own way that they will not stop until u witness the life changing aurura experience. If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing the aurora borealis, Lorenzo and Luisa are the perfect guides to make it happen! I just got back from a four-day road trip with them, and it was incredible. Each night, we had a new spot to catch the northern lights, and we were lucky enough to see them each night since they are going all the way to be able to catch them (even start driving at 1A.M in order to avoid the clouds)!!!Lorenzo and Luisa are super friendly. They took enormous amount of photos of the aurora and the hiking trips, which they shared with the group shortly after, so we didn’t need to stress about having the best camera gear. We had to go on the tour on September 10, Diana's warmth was very pleasant and enjoyable, we began the adventure traveling from our accommodation to Finnish Lapland with the desire to be able to see the beautiful auroras, the wait took a while but it was worth it all the time Seeing them dancing is quite a spectacle. This tour includes photos and unlimited time until you can see the beautiful auroras. I totally recommend it, it's very worth it.

I had booked Arctic Road Trips for our Northern Lights tour. I got to know about them through some research on social media. I connected to Lorenzo who’s the founder on Whatsapp and blocked a date for our tour. The best part about their team is that they are extremely passionate. Diana was our Aurora Hunter for the night and she left no stone unturned to provide us with the best possible experience. They don’t do anything fancy like Food, BBQ, Bonfire etc.. complete focus is on Aurora hunting which makes it even better. They have no time limit (literally can go all the way upto morning to make sure your see everything) and no kilometer limits as well. It was really cold outside and Diana made us comfortable by keeping the Van’s heaters on throughout the night. So that we could also rest in between. We saw the Aurora starting at 10pm and major explosion was around 1-2am.. post that ideally she could have taken us back home but the data showed that there are chances of little more show. So she started driving us back and on the way when signs of aurora started showing again in the sky, she halted for another hour so that we could enjoy every part of aurora that turned up for the night. An Unforgettable Aurora Experience with Luke!We had the most amazing time with our aurora hunting guide, Luke! His initial plan was to visit a lake, but on our way there, he informed us that it was cloudy. Instead of giving up, Luke quickly adjusted our plans and took us to several breathtaking spots first, each more beautiful than the last.Later in the night, he was able to bring us back to the lake when the sky finally cleared, and it was absolutely awesome! It is with a heavy heart that I give this tour a 3-star rating.We initially booked it based on the glowing reviews of Lorenzo and Luisa, as it’s their tour agency. Closer to our travel dates, we were informed that Diana would be our guide instead. Although we had hoped to experience the tour with the original guides, we saw a few positive reviews about Diana and decided to proceed.Unfortunately, the tour turned out to be the most boring one I've ever been on—and I’ve been on quite a few. Diana came across as impolite and rude. We spoke to another couple on the bus who were afraid to engage in conversation because they worried Diana might yell at them.Despite the freezing -1°C temperature outside, she didn’t bother turning on the heater in the car. It almost felt like she was trying to save money. Her explanations of the lights felt more like yelling, and for most of the night, we sat in awkward silence. We left at 7 PM and didn’t return until 6 AM—it was the longest night of our lives.During payment, one couple forgot their PIN, and Diana kept pressuring them, saying the card machine was using up too much battery.While the lights themselves were amazing, the overall experience was not something I’d want to relive. It honestly felt like we were in a military camp!
If you think about gonna go see Aurora in Rovaniemi, Finland, this is the best company that I did experienced & want to recommend to you. Friendliness, on time pick up & the best part was my tour guide that I had ( Luke) got Aurora passion too & tried really hard to get out there to hunt & make clients satisfy. We drove further to Sweden & got the best pictures, my heart was full with happiness. Service was excellent with pick-up& drop off plus if you love to have pictures take by him, he would be happy to do for you & send them to you later on. I know there are tons of Tour companies that you can choose from & even cheaper but this one you won’t be disappointed.

We did a hunt with Diana on the 22nd of September, and boy she’s a fighter. We left at 6:30 PM from Rovaniemi on our trip, knowing that the data for the day wasn’t too promising even though it was a clear sky. We drove about 250 kms north and waited patiently till we got the first hint. Then the mothership arrived once we left our first location and found an open field, and it was magnificent. Diana has this raw energy that gets everyone going from the depths of despair that we’re having a lonely no aurora night to the heights of it, with her drive and passion for this. She knows what she’s doing, and she’s a straight talker. No frills, just northern lights love. Thanks Diana and thanks Lorenzo. This was awesome
Best experience of my life! Seeing the northern lights was a dream of mine since forever and Lorenzo and Luisa made it real. Their passion is contagious, they love what they do and it shows. They know how to read the data, where the best places to sleep are, where the most gorgeous landscapes to see are. I thought she is seeing northern lights daily with the tourists so she is ok to see it. But she is excited as some first timer. For northern lights you actually need a aurora hunter like this.She is the best energy person i have seen. If normal person regular working speed is 10 then Diana works with 200 speed. She is super women.Let me define how this superwomen works-Right eye on the road, left eye always on sky, left hand on the wheel right hand checking data in phone for best Aurora location. 25 times in a minute she is taking out her neck from the window to see the clouds. Having said this seems like careless driver Bigggggg Noooooo. She is the best perfect and safest driver.When she takes you there is no limit of time and kms. Even if you see amazing northern lights she just wont stop until Aurora possiblities became absolutely 0. This was a bucket list item for me and I can’t put into words how grateful I am to our aurora hunter guide Diana and to Arctic Road Trips for making my dream come true.Diana was an amazing guide, taking us to the only place in Lapland without cloud cover! We had challenging conditions with the clouds and the full moon, but Diana didn’t give up and we kept seeking clearer skies and waiting it out. The wait was worth it as we saw dancing auroras and a sky full of northern lights! It was so incredible and one of the coolest moments of my life.Even when we started to head back to Rovaniemi around 5am, more aurora exploded and Diana pulled the van over right away for us to enjoy more viewing! She is so knowledgeable and determined, and her good energy, passion and enthusiasm is contagious. I come to tell my experience with Lorenzo.Sunday 09/15/2024, my partner and I booked the Auroras Tour for one night with Lorenzo.We, on previous occasions, have already seen auroras in other countries, but we decided to take Lorenzo's tour because, apart from seeing auroras, as it says on his WEB "Also, if you have your own camera, we will be happy to show you how to choose the best settings for photographing auroras" (in our case we brought our own camera).We fulfilled the first part of seeing auroras, but the second part, Lorenzo's staff, when asking for help with the adjustments of our cameras, the answer was the following: "I do not master your Olympus brand since I use Sony and Canon" we It stopped us in stone and on top of that we had to look for it on the internet how to configure the camera. HAVING A SUPPOSED EXPERT GUIDE BY THE SIDEThe worst thing is that today, 09/18/2024, we wrote to Lorenzo via WhatsApp to explain our feeling about it and the response has also been surprising: The Olympus settings are different from the cameras we use (Sony/Canon/Nikon).It bothered us quite a bit because during this conversation, it seems that Lorenzo is trying to throw things out and we get the feeling that it is our fault for having an Olympus.We can understand that Olympus is not the best brand for photos/videos of auroras, but we did not enjoy the experience due to the false information they promise previously said that they will help you if you bring your camera and because of Lorenzo's attention on Whatsapp,In conclusion, we paid €400 to watch tutorials on YouTube to know how to take a video/photo of the aurora and, to have a photo taken as a tourist with an aurora, it is not worth paying that amount of money, it is better to take a cheaper tour .
Just backed from a last minute Aurora Road Trip and did not regret a minute of it. Lorenzo and Luisa have the upmost dedication and passion in what they do - literally looking at data and hunting (ie, if it's better to see it all the way in Norway, let's go!).They tirelessly drove us from Rovaniemi and back throughout the whole trip, even cooked simple dinner while we rested (when they needed more rest than us).Lorenzo and Luisa also explained about the aurora phenomenon, what does all the data they used mean in determining where's the best spot (of course, they do the best they can, and nature decides in the end - but we were super fortunate for nature to dance for us overhead all 3 days!)Couldn't ask for more, and worth every penny.

This is one of the best trips we've had so far. We got to see Aurora every night in the Road trip. The efforts made by Lorenzo, Luisa and Lukas are just beyond words, they make sure that your dreams are fulfilled and that too at the best spot there is. Apart from Aurora, we got to explore the nature and stay at the breathtaking locations in the country , Thanks to their planning and efforts for this. Lorenzo even made delicious pizza for all of us. Lying down on the road, in front of Arctic, with the wind 80 km/hr , super nice temperature and just watching Nature painting its masterpiece right above our head is the experience I will never forget. After missing the Aurora on a trip to Iceland and Lofoten we turned to the "hunter" par excellence. All the reviews on Arctic Road Trips were more than positive. But what exactly is a 3-day trip in search of the Aurora? Everything is described exactly in their program. The goal is the aurora. Everything else is travel in a 7 or 9 seater van, not very comfortable, with breaks for the supermarket and short walks mostly to stretch your legs. Finland in winter is a bit boring, rows of birch trees that don't make the country very attractive. But if you happen to go to Norway then everything changes and becomes fascinating. Lorenzo and Luisa drive from 11.30am without limit of km or time and take you where they know you will see the reason for the journey. And if there is no time to have dinner, it is postponed until after seeing it.The only program is the aurora. Everything else is improvisation. The accommodations where you sleep are chosen based on where you arrive. These are often quite comfortable multi-room houses. You sleep between 3.30 in the morning and 9.30. The aurora can last only a short time so as soon as it appears the speed with which we rush to place the photographic equipment is lightning fast. Tripods and cameras arranged in various points to capture the event as best as possible. Because to the naked eye the sight may not be particularly surprising. While what the lens captures is exciting.If you are looking for a hiking trip to which you can add the aurora, this trip is not for you. We did the 1 night Aurora Expedition with Lorenzo, what can I say, we saw the Aurora!!!! Even though the weather conditions in Rovaniemi were terrible, we moved with the Van to Sweden and around midnight we managed to do it. Lorenzo is very passionate about it, you can see that he wants you to try this experience and continually consults weather and non-weather sites to check solar activity. If you want advice: trust him and you won't go wrong!

Did the Trip with Lorenzo, Ksenia, and Luke in March '24 and it is now a core memory for us for life. The tour I did with arctic road trips was amazing !They were very upfront with the details about hunting for the Aurora’s borealis and as the weather was not that good there was a chance that we would not see it. Which is in that case we would only pay for the petrol for the drive. We got picked up from our accommodation and spent around 7 hours on the tour and found amazing northern lights. We were able to get professionals pictures taken as many as we wanted and it was a surreal experience! Learnt a lot about the northern lights as well, thank you so much to Luisa for showing us this part of the world!
We arrived in Rovaniemi with the snow and the sky completely overcast, given the forecast we had no illusions about being able to see the aurora, but Lorenzo, after checking the weather all day, towards evening wrote to us: let's go! During the journey (which according to his predictions could have lasted up to three hours before finding a place free of clouds) he was always updated on the state of visibility. Halfway a surprise: here is the dawn!! What can I say, an incredible show!! Lorenzo is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guy, trust him if you want to see the dawn you won't be disappointed!!! It deserves all five stars!!!

I also want to post my review so that anyone who comes to Finland to see the Northern Lights, we know that the real adrenaline-filled hunt is the one done together with Lorenzo! That continuous monitoring of solar activity, weather forecasts and looking for that hole of clear sky between two cloud fronts... The adventure begins even before getting into the car. The excitement together with the group, always looking at the sky while in the dark we drive along the deserted streets of the night... And then, at a certain point, we throw ourselves into the first parking lot, we catapult ourselves down... And it's simply WOW !!Lorenzo took us hunting for two consecutive nights to give us what we came looking for. The first night, when solar activity was not on our side, still gave us a sky with a billion stars that we will never forget.Thanks Lorenzo!
Before you get too old I recommend you have this magnificent experience. Lorenzo and Luisa are 2 fantastic guys, they believe a lot in the work they do and will pass on all their passion to you. I just got back but I would already leave again. I have always dreamed of being able to have an experience with them and I would say that it went beyond my expectations. a 3-day trip that seemed to start badly, with little chance of seeing the aurora, catapulted us to the north end of Norway and we achieved a haul of 3 out of 3 auroras! If you have doubts about not being able to see the Northern Lights when you are in Lapland then write to Lorenzo that you are certain that you will be able to see it because with his patience, tenacity and passion that he puts into it you cannot have any doubts. We booked Arctic road trips as we had seen that they have a really good success rate and would take us as far as needed to see the lights. Needless to say, our expectations were exceeded. The weather and clouds along with the BZ were very much against us but the team drove us 3+ hours to chase a parting in the clouds. They didn’t give up when many might have, they kept a close watch on the solar activity and cloud cover and when the lights finally exploded, we were in the best place possible to see. The guys took so many photos and they are incredible, we have really made memories to last a life time. I’ve never met people so passionate about their job and helping people fulfil a dream, so friendly and knowledgable and explained every step of the way what was going on so we could understand. Thanks so so much again, we will definitely be back
It was a wonderful experience: Lorenzo, a true expert on the Northern Lights, manages to convey enthusiasm and passion to all his traveling companions. For all three evenings we saw this natural phenomenon, never the same but always exaggeratedly magical!!! What an incredible adventure Lorenzo and Luisa gave us. Besides the stunning landscapes and incredible northern Lights they are an absolute pleasure to travel with. I know they are your guides for the adventure but the entire trip felt more like a holiday with friends that you have known for years, from the long drive chatting about random stuff and listening to music to the homemade meal at night waiting for the aurora to appear.That being said do not think that they take their "Guide and organisers" duties lightly. They are incredibly knowledgeable about Northern lights and the entire North of Scandinavia in general. Out of the 3 nights we spent together they managed to find the only clear skies spots in a otherwise very cloudy Scandinavia which allowed us to see the Aurora every night. All complemented with a very nice hike during the day on top of a hill for a stunning view and photo opportunity; photos which we then received promptly as soon as we had returned home from our trip. I can not recommend these guys enough and I am pretty sure this first trip with them won't be the last one I'll do with them. Thank you guys for my first Aurora Borealis!

I did a 4 day Aurora Hunting Road Trip with Lorenzo and Luisa and I cannot begin to say how impressed I am. Not only are they both extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring we find the best show we can. We ended up between Finland Sweden and Norway which was incredible to see. They put in hours of work (driving 9hrs a day sometimes), finding the best accommodation, making sure we were all looked after and fed too. By far the best tour I’ve ever done and will be coming back. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to see the Northern Lights (I’ve tried 3 time before and not seen them and owe it to them for seeing such an incredible show).

This was our second aurora hunt in rovaniemi and was the best that we had during our trip! to be honest we had low expectations about tonight because on the app that Luisa showed us the score (i dont know whats the parameter called) is -1 which means low aurora activities...but tonight luisa's said maybe the NASA might missed something cause the satelite was old HAHAHA because she always find a loop. and she was correct! we only drive for like 1 hour 45 mins away from the city and Luisa find us a good location to see the aurora that was moving from north to south and north again for almost 4 hours on the same spot! so we didnt waste our time on the road at all, when the aurora activities started getting weaker we started to drive back home. that night we got twice aurora explotion and it was spectacular moment to see with our own eyes. Thanks to Luisa we really had a great night. my family really loves it and it was a moment of a lifetime!

It was just a really great experience. Unforgettable. No frills with campfires and sausages or anything like that. The pure hunt for the northern lights made me feel like I was on a secret mission. So the trip alone was great and you could always feel Luisa's passion for the Northern Lights. We ended up somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Sweden that I would never have gone otherwise and there we saw more than impressive Northern Lights. The weather wasn't necessarily the best but Lorenzo was able to take us more than 3 and a half hours away to a completely crazy place where we were able to observe a magical spectacle of the Northern Lights!!More than 1 hour of explosion without interruption! Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide and service. Luisa did everything she could to make sure we would see the northern lights.No matter how far she needed to drive and how many times she needed to check all her different forecast sources. Calculating the wind to see if the clouds would blow the other direction and create a temporary gap of visibility and where that gap was gonna be.Yes, we saw the northern lights and even more special, we really got the feeling that we were hunting for the lights. TV channels better come to Rovaniemi and make a TV show of Aurora Hunting with Luisa and Lorenzo.When I told Luisa I was going to propose, the aurora started fading in the horizon. She knew the importance of that moment for me, got everyone back in the car and drove to another location so I could propose and get nice pictures.The best in Lapland! Really recommended.

I was hoping to catch the aurora and after reading many reviews, my family and I decided to go with Artic Road Trip for a northern light chase and it was one of the best decision. Both Lorenzo and Luisa were very transparent with what is on offer to ensure expectations are managed since we are talking about a natural phenomenon.Once it was confirmed that the trip was on, there appears to be no limit as to the extend they will go to find places where the lights are visible. They made a dream come true.We have been in constant contact with Lorenzo practically every day since my arrival to see if day after day there were the conditions to see the aurora, Lorenzo has always been very honest and preferred to cancel the tour for days rather than waste time and money. On the last day of my stay in Rovaniemi I had the opportunity to witness one of the most beautiful natural spectacles there could be. I was with my almost 3 year old daughter and Lorenzo was super kind and understanding of the limits you might have. Lorenzo took us on Nov 21st, 2023 and we have officially had the best night of our lives! Best northern lights hunting trip ever! I was worried to not see the aurora borealis because November is probably one of the worst months to witness this amazing natural show, but Luisa kept driving and driving for hour to be sure we were able to be amazed by the northern lights and at the end the miracle happened and we saw an amazing colourful dances in the northern sky 😍 and not only once! Luisa kept keeping her attention on the weather and the sky and we saw the northern lights multiple times and it was an unbelievable feeling.Everyone should choose to do the tour with these guys because I can guarantee to all of you that Luisa and Lorenzo will go extra mile to be sure your dream to see the aurora borealis will come true in the most unbelievable way!Grazie ragazzi ❤️

We went on an aurora light hunt with Luisa. She did everything to make sure we could see the lights and it was simply an unforgettable experience! She loves her job and is willing to go to the limit with the tour participants to make this experience possible. Yesterday we took a tour of the Northern Lights, with Luise as our guide. It was an absolutely perfect trip with magical impressions that we will never forget. During the tour, Luise told us a lot about the auroras and how they form and was very committed to finding the best possible spot. We would do the tour again and again and definitely recommend it!The planning and arrangement via WhatsApp was super uncomplicated and there was always quick and concrete feedback.In addition to seeing the northern lights, the wild car ride (hunting) was also very exciting and anything but boring. :)PS: The photos are absolutely amazing!!! Wonderful experience! Lorenzo made one of my life's dreams come true: to see the Aurora Borealis and he did it in the most fascinating way possible.Thanks to his tenacity and passion we traveled kilometers and crossed two borders just to see the Aurora and in the meantime we saw spectacular landscapes, the real Lapland, the real Sweden and the magical Norway with its Fjords! There is nothing planned at the beginning of this journey, but only one objective: the Aurora Borealis and Lorenzo has all the experience and competence and the right enthusiasm to accompany his travel companions where the sky is clear to see one of the most beautiful shows in the world.
An incredible experience and I recommend them big time! I only had a few days in Lapland and the weather did not look good for the day I booked with Luisa and Lorenzo. They kept an eye on the weather forecast for the whole week and we went last minute on a different day than the one I booked, just so the chances for Northern lights would be a bit bigger. Thank you so much. It was a dream come true! I will write them again when I go to the north in the future 🙂

I waited a few days before writing to let the emotion of the trip calm down but certain experiences leave their mark and Lorenzo and Luisa made us experience unique emotions. Two true aurora hunters and two wonderful people, their passion and enthusiasm for what they do is not often seen, in addition to their great competence. I can only thank them for the wonderful trip they took us on from Rovaniemi to the Lofoten Islands in Norway.P.s. I give 5 stars only because it is not possible to give more.

Once in a lifetime experience!!! I was dreaming of witnessing Northern lights since my childhood and met Louisa and Lorenzo! We had 3 days road trip and EVERYTHING was amazing! This guys are really passionate about their job and are the best hunters! The accomodations they chose were fantastic! Look no more and just book! I promise you will not regret!!! 🤩❤️P.S. be ready for a really cold weather and if you are not cold person, I highly recommend you using heating pads for the boots and the gloves. 📌

The trip was amazing! It was the best night of my life and a dream come true. I got engaged under the Milky Way, the shooting stars and dancing auroras. Lorenzo was checking every single detail so we didn’t miss anything. We couldn’t chose anybody else to do this tour with. Conventional companies won’t drive and do whatever it takes so you can see the Auroras.Will do it a thousand times more and if I ever be back I’ll definitely do the aurora road-trip. Honestly, I can’t recommend Lorenzo and Luisa enough - anything I write here won’t do justice to how amazing our four-day road trip was. And I’m not only talking about the auroras shows because obviously that’s the main goal here, but also about the hikes we did, the places we stayed, how nice every single person from the group was. When they say they’re usually the last people who want to leave and head back to the hotel, trust me, they mean it 😅 I had a sky-high expectation for this trip and even so it was even better than I could have ever imagined, so thank you very much guys!
Luísa and Lorenzo were the best guides for our Northern Lights experience…..they made all the difference and are true experts in finding the best and most beautiful aurora. We stayed with them for 4 days and traveled more than 2,500km between Norway, Finland and Sweden and saw aurora every day of the most varied shapes and colors. ❤️I highly recommend the experience , they are responsible and know all the information so you can have the best aurora experience of your life 😊
Found them on instagram while planning our Lapland trip, it just took few minutes on their pages to decide that we were gonna go aurora hunting with Lorenzo and Luisa. Their success rate and the wide range of trips they offer drew us in and we weren’t disappointed. Pick-up and drop-off, moving from one location to another to escape clouds and friendly conversations throughout made this experience an 11/10 to say the least. They offer warm boots and more equipment if needed (our hunt was on an especially cold day), Luisa was always smiling and made the whole group excited, taking endless professional pictures. You can see while driving that they know exactly what they’re doing, we never stationed in a place hoping to see the Northern Lights, we went where they knew our shot was best.Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience:))
It was on our bucket list to visit Finland and see Northern Lights. So the package what we took included a Northern light tour. Unfortunately it was cloudy in Kakslautanen (Ivalo) and the other city also the same. We were thinking that this trip we will not be able to see Northern Lights. My wife was in discussion with Lorenzo before the trip (through Instagram) and he was confident if it visible we will make sure that you see but we need your time. So he and Luisa picked us up from the hotel and then journey started. So a friend from the group joined us and a Greek Couple also joined We drove for approx 4 hours towards Norway and was not stopping anywhere because as per forecast there was an opening and they requested to hold on. Where we stopped and first time we saw the Aurora we were like speechless and then dancing like waves. It was just awesome. They had booked an Airbnb for us and cooked for us amazing Pasta 🍝. After a comfortable sleep, we left for a tour around Norway to see the Fjords around 2 PM. It was sunset time we could see the moon, the sunset and surprisingly an Aurora was forming up. What a sight it was.While returning stopping for Pizza, Lorenzo suddenly while eating rushed outside in freezing cold, as he noticed there is a pink Aurora dancing . It was just wonderful.In short , this trip couldn't have been perfect without them and new friends we made.If you want to see Northern Lights, contact them and you won't be disappointed

My wife and I had the best northern lights experience, best trip ever! We stayed in Rovaniemi Finland but weather has been really bad, full of clouds so we cannot see any aurora. Lorenzo and Luisa offered us a 1 night roadtrip to Norway to get away from the clouds so we can see the northern lights during our short stay in Finland. They are such amazing guide and photographers. Sweet and nice people. We will definitely go with them again whenever we come back to Finland again.
